Autohaus is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring one of their oldest staff members to take part in a 70-mile run from Carlise to Newcastle on the 15 June 2024
Steve will be 64 by the time he runs the Hadrian’s Wall Rat Race which is probably why he doesn’t want to show his face. https://www.ratrace.com/the-wall Autohaus has offered to donate to Steve’s charity of choice, which happens to be Steps.
Steps is a registered charity supporting families with children who have special educational needs. They offer a free and unique service following the principles of Conductive Education for children with conditions that cause motor impairments or motor development delays. Steps caters for young children with Cerebral Palsy, chromosome disorders including Down Syndrome or other conditions which affect the acquisition of motor skills. https://www.stepscentre.org.uk/.
Steve’s niece Ellie and her family are supported by Steps. You can read Ellies story here https://www.stepscentre.org.uk/ellie.
Steve’s motivation to train and run this gruelling race is to raise money for Steps. If you wanted to help encourage Steve, you could do so simply by donating directly to Steps. https://www.stepscentre.org.uk/make-a-donation .
Alternatively, you can make a card payment to Autohaus by telephoning 01643 703283 or bank transfer to Llyds Bank Sort code 30-19-57 Account number 00740249. Please quote the charity number 1063143. After the race all donations will added together and a cheque for the total amount sent to Steps.
